Funded Activities: Support for 1-yr internship of Antcha Sylvan Kaye from Chad to study 'Biointensive Agriculture' at Manor House in Kitale, Kenya, Africa.  Oasis of Grace is an agricultural project initiated by Nanga Kaye that focuses on small-scale gardening, farming, fruit production and animal production in Chad. Oasis of Grace's goal is to empower people by example to create their own sustenance systems.

Title:  Southeast Asia Disaster Relief
In Affiliation with: Church of the Brethren Emergency Disaster Fund and Trees for Life
Allocated Funds: $3,000.00
Funded Activities:  The December 2004 earthquake/tsunami disaster that struck Southeast Asia cost around 150,000 lives and displaced thousands of people.  In reponse to this disaster, REAP has extended $1,500.00 each toward the COB Emergency Disaster Fund and Trees for Life to be used for disaster relief.  Read more about how these funds will be used.
