Funded Activities:  Creation of a project utilizing biointensive agricultural techniques (using greenhouses and low level inputs) to safely feed the poor and generate income. A group of 30 children and adolescents (former child laborers in San Carlos de Bariloche's waste site) will participate in this initiative for sustainable self-reliance.  The goal will be providing basic food needs for their family groups, generating income, and combine with other groups to further their own productive and earnings-generating capacities.

Title:  Training in Greenhouse Grow Biointensive Agriculture
Allocated Funds:  $500.00
Funded Activities:  Training in Pennsylvania on the use of Biointensive Agriculture.  Andy will put this training to use in Lincoln, utilizing biointensive agriculture techniques with the Lincoln Community Garden Project to provide a balanced diet for low-income people.   He will also work with the Lincoln Children's Museum to set up a new area for "Grow Biointensive" vegetable production, extending the museum's outreach to include lower income, migratory, and refugee groups.

Title:  GROW BIOINTENSIVEŽ Sustainable Mini-Farming Workshop
Allocated Funds:  $1,500.00
Funded Activities:   GROW BIOINTENSIVEŽ Sustainable Mini-Farming Workshop Training for Andy Witowski, Kim Matthews, Jose Alas, and John Andrews of the Lincoln Community Garden. The project will empower the low-income and disenfranchised to increase the health and sustainability of our soil and community.
